Sauvignon Blanc - Touraine

Touraine is the district at the very heart of the Loire Valley - both geographically and in term of production.  It is centered around the town of Tours, and follows the Loire river along 100km, from Blois in the east to Chinon and Bourgueil in the west.

This crisp, dry Sauvignon Blanc originates from vineyards with sandy limestone slopes, producing a delicate mineral quality.  Produced in a vineyard where environmentally sustainable methods are used and who are working on obtaining the organic certification.

Grassy and herbaceous notes mingle with fruity aromas of gooseberries.  It is well paired with seafood and also perfect as an aperitif.  Ideally paired with fresh goat cheese. Consume at 7-9ºC.
